The Story

Established in 2009 in the Netherlands, Newland EMEA has grown to include 16 offices and 5 service centres across the region. As expansion continues, the focus remains on developing the product range, services, and teams to make scanning simple and accessible, with a people-first approach. Supported by an extensive network of partners, products and services are delivered locally in over 60 countries, driving innovation and accessibility in scanning technology.
The Roots
Newland EMEA (Newland Europe BV) is part of the Newland Technology Group and a subsidiary of Newland Digital Technology Co. Ltd. (SZE-000997). Founded in 1994 in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China, Newland Technology Group quickly rose to prominence as one of the top 500 High-Tech and top 100 software enterprises. It became a publicly traded company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2000. Since then, Newland Technology Group has expanded globally, achieving $1B in global revenue with over 5,000 employees. The Technology

The product line includes OEM scan engines, stationary scanners, handheld scanners, mobile computers, micro kiosks, and tablets. All devices are built using proprietary UIMG Image technology and 2D Decoder chip. These technologies enable the delivery of high performance without compromising on cost, while also conserving resources and reducing the carbon footprint of the devices.
